About
Lucero Fuentes Ramos is an MSc student in Electrical Engineering at McGill University and a member of the RAISE Lab. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP).
Her research interests lie at the intersection of Human–Computer Interaction and Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on accessibility, education, and human-centered system design. She has worked on interdisciplinary projects involving assistive technologies, computer vision, and interactive systems, including projects related to American Sign Language recognition and digital well-being.
Lucero is particularly interested in designing ethical and socially responsible technologies that support diverse users and real-world needs. Alongside her research work, she has experience in STEM education, outreach, and initiatives promoting inclusion and gender equity in engineering and technology.
